The Amherstview Jets Junior Hockey Club is a not-for-profit community organization administered by a volunteer Executive and Board of Directors.
OUR MISSION is to provide opportunities for junior age players in the local area.
OUR SUCCESS is best illustrated by graduates of our program – Jay McKee (Sudbury Wolves – Pittsburgh Penguins), Bryan Allen (Oshawa – Carolina Hurricanes) and Scott Todd (Oshawa Generals). We have players who have played with academic inspiration among them players who have entered Medical School and Engineering.
OUR FUTURE is dependent upon the support of our sponsors, fans and volunteers. The Jets organization would like to encourage you to become involved. In the attached letter we have described some options you may consider.
OUR FUNDING is derived from sponsorship, gate receipts and various fundraising projects. Competition for fundraising dollars is quite fierce, particularly for a volunteer organization.
OUR STRENGTH and added value relate directly to supporters such as yourselves, your contacts, in your business and personal areas of influence will provide a source of funding and allow the organization to remain fiscally sound.
